Tapestry Event

Katelyn and her art teacher, Mrs. Bowers.

Katelyn standing by her artwork.

Katelyn's artwork was chosen by her art teacher to be displayed at the Gwinnett Instructional Center for the Tapestery Exhibit. Each school in Gwinnett County picks one student's artwork per grade and it is displayed at this event. We were so honored that Katelyn's was chosen from Mulberry. We went to the event and saw the picture. It is the cutest little scarecrow. She is quite the artist. She loves loves loves to do any kind of artisitc project. Her art teacher is wonderful.

We are so very proud of her!!!

Oh Happy Day

Kendall wore pigtails briefly recently to Katelyn's school one day when we ate lunch with her. She looked adorable. Her hair is finally starting to grow and mommy is so happy!! I do love her short little curls but I'm looking forward to some pony tails.

American Girl

For Katelyn's sixth birthday, my mom and I took Katelyn to the American Girl store. She chose "Lanie" for her doll. Lanie is adorable and she fits right into our family!! It was such a special afternoon for Katelyn--and us as well. I made a big deal about turning six and getting an American Girl doll. She was super excited as was her mommy. After she got Lanie, we ate at the cafe. Lanie had her own seat with her own menu--it was precious. We had a great time and it was an incredible memory. Looking forward to going with Kendall and Caroline when they turn 6.

Katelyn's 6th Birthday Party

The Birthday girl!!

Pedicure time!

Ready for a movie!

For Katelyn's 6th birthday, she had a spend the night party. She had a few of her closest friends over and they had a blast. The night started off with pizza and cake/ice cream. She opened presents and then it was off to do "girly" things. We painted fingernails and toenails, made necklacs and bracelets and played games. They had a blast. Even though the night ended with half of my family sick, I'm going to choose to focus on the great night that we had. It was so much fun to hear all of those little giggles upstairs--reminded me of being a child and all of the fun memories of spend the night parties. I'm so thankful for her friends and all of the memories she's making with them. Can't believe she's six!! She really is the sweetest little girl

Our Anniversary Trip

The house we stayed in.

Boys will be boys!!!

Noah and Christina.

No reason for this picture other than I think it is the cutest church in America. Everytime I see it, I love it more--isn't it adorable??

A few weeks ago Kevin and I went on a trip with our friends Noah and Christina for our anniversary. We both share the exact same anniversary. We went to Watercolor for a few days. Honestly, it was the most relaxing few days we have had in a long time. We enjoyed being on no schedule and doing whatever we wanted whenever we wanted. We enjoyed some yummy meals and lots of card games. Very fun to get away but always good to get back!!

Kenadall's 3rd Birthday

The Birthday Girl!!

This adorable little miniature horse.

Loved her cake. Honestly, the cute cakes are one of my favorite parts of a party!!

I absolutely love this picture. Katelyn and Kendall are holding hands while we sang Happy Birthday. Too sweet!!

Kendall turned three on February 1st. She LOVES horses so we had a horse to come to her party for the kids to ride. Actually a miniature horse (that was adorable) and a small horse came. The kids all enjoyed riding and petting them. It was a lot of fun and a priceless memory. Can't believe she's three!!
