Our Little Ballerina

Katelyn started ballet a couple of weeks ago. She absolutely loves it. It is right up her alley!! There's nothing cuter than a little ballerina. I think the recital might be more than I can handle. She asked me before the first week, "Mom, will the teacher just sit and watch me since I already know how to dance?" So cute! I'm looking forward to a fun year of ballet.

Katelyn's First Day of 4 Year Preschool

September 2nd was Katelyn's first day of 4-year preschool. She was so incredibly excited that it made me excited to see her start. She told me, "Mommy, I'm going to have a great day but you probably won't because I won't be here with you!" It was really cute. I did have a little knot in my stomach thinking about her being gone 4 mornings a week, but I guess it will prepare me for next year. She did have a great day and so far loves it. She really seems to love her teacher, and I'm so thankful for that. We're looking forward to another great year at Rolling Hills.

On Labor Day, Chic-fil-a was giving away free chicken strips if you showed off your team's colors. The Fords (Dawgs) and the Ryans (Gators) put down their swords for a few moments to enjoy a free lunch. We got several comments about dining together by others in the restaurant.
It was a great way to "CELEBRATE" Labor Day.

More Watercolor Fun

I just wanted to add a few more of my favorite shots from our beach trip last week. We had a great time. Katelyn asked me, "Mom, can we just live here?" I can't say that I blame her. It would be great!

Fun at Watercolor

Our family is enjoying a week at Watercolor in Santa Rosa Beach. We are having a great time!! Katelyn loves the beach and can't get enough of it. Kendall isn't sure how much she likes it yet. She's not a fan of getting sand on her feet! She does love the pool, especially the kiddie one that is just right for her size. The girls are also enjoying bike riding. There are great bike trails in the community. It is such a great family oriented place. We are enjoying a fun week of much needed family time together!! Thanks Kellie and Adam for such memorable vacation.

Lemonade Anyone?

Katelyn joined her friends; Amelia, Luke, Parker, Ethan, Davis, Mallory, and Bailey last week for a lemonade stand. They had a great time, and Katelyn has been begging since then to have one at her house. We let her have one today. She had a blast and sold 14 cups!! It was a hot day so we played in the garage in between customers. What a great summer memory!!

AND THEN THERE WERE THREE. . .

Well, in case you haven't heard yet, we are expecting our third child. I'll have to admit this one caught us by surprise, but we are very excited about baby number three. He/she is scheduled to arrive around March 16th. We saw the baby yesterday at our ultrasound, and it looked perfect. It is a privilage that God has chosen to bless us with another precious life. We just wanted to share our news with you!
