Over Spring Break, we went to Americus for the week. It was a great time spent with friends and family. The girls colored easter eggs, decorated an easter house with mimi, hunted eggs with cousins, spent time playing at Papa and JoJo's and the list continues. Life slows down a little bit there, and it is fun to go and get refreshed sometimes.

We had a great Easter. We spent it in Americus with both of our families. The girls woke up at Papa and JoJo's house and opened their Easter baskets. They had a blast! We went to church and then out to my grandmother's for lunch and a big egg hunt. We ended the day at Mimi's house with another egg hunt. As fun and special as the day was, it was all about the celebration of our risen Savior. I'm so thankful that I serve a living God!!

Our Trip to the Zoo

These are the cutest little birds I've seen in a nest! Kendall wasn't too thrilled to be sitting in the nest.

A couple of weeks ago we went to the zoo (all five of us). It was a little crazy but a lot of fun. We had a great time, and it was our first big outing as a family of five. The weather was beautiful!! The girls enjoyed all of the animals. Their favorites were the monkeys and the flamingos. Caroline enjoyed herself too!

Katelyn's First Day of Soccer

Katelyn began a program today called Soccer Starts. They are learning the basics in order to prepare for playing on a real soccer team in the fall. Katelyn was very excited and had a great time. She was pretty good at it too!!!! The Dads are all out on the field with the kids the whole time - so Kevin was loving life today. He was so excited to do something "athletic" with one of his girls.

Playgroup Easter Egg Hunt

We had the anual playgroup Easter egg hunt at the McBrayers on Friday. The kids had a great time. I'm reminded how big our kids are getting when I look back at all of our group pictures from years past. I'm so glad that my girls have these friends that they're literally growing up with! Happy Easter!!

Fun Times

Katelyn and Kendall have so much fun playing together. Kendall is just starting to get to the age where she can play with Katelyn. Most of the time, they play great together. Kendall wants to do everything her big sister does! Anxious for warm weather, the girls decided to "swim." They put their swimsuits on, got the life jacket and swim toys out, and got in our tub. They played for an hour and had a blast. Oh, to be little again!
