Last Swim Lesson

Katelyn just finished up her last class of swim lessons. She is swimming from one side of the pool to the other. She has done so great!!! The difference from the last video we posted from just 2 weeks ago is amazing. What a blessing to see your child learn something new.

JUMP!!

Katelyn has been in swim lessons now for 3 weeks. This is a video of her jumping the pool on her own, going under, and swimming to the side of the pool. She has gotten very brave and confident in her swimming ability. We are so proud of her!!

Fun Summer Days

These pictures were taken at the pool on the Fourth of July. We have enjoyed the pool with friends this summer. Kendall has grown to love it, and Katelyn could stay and swim all day--she can't get enough. Kendall also enjoyed eating watermelon as you can well see! She's also loving fresh corn on the cob--as long as she can pick it up and eat it herself of course. I love these fun summer days!!

Girls Just Want to Have Fun!!

A week ago three of my best friends and I went to the beach. It is an annual tradition for us, and we had a great time. It was a great relaxing weekend. Ephensions 3:20 comes to mind when I think of this group of friends: "Now to Him who is able to do IMMEASURABLY more than we ask or imagine. . ." God has done immeasurably more than I could ever ask for in these girls. The amazing thing is that God has also blessed me with such wonderful friends that I met once we married and moved to Dacula. I have been surrounded by the most amazing group of girlfriends in my "older" age as well, and I treasure all of these relationships. They are true a blessing to me, and I have already started praying daily for my children to find these lifelong friends. We missed you Heather and Casey! It wasn't the same without you.

Swim Lessons

Katelyn has been taking swim lessons this week, and she's doing great! She's swimming with a noodle, swimming on a board, jumping in and going under water, and floating on her back-with help. There's nothing cuter than a little girl with pink goggles on!!

Picnic in the Garage

It was a rainy day and the girls (Katelyn) really wanted to have a picnic. I left and went to the grocery store and came home to this. Kevin had moved both cars out of the garage, and they had a picnic in the garage even complete with music! It was so exciting to them. Kids are so incredibly easy to please!! I pray that we enjoy each of these special times with them, even picnics in the garage!
