Callaway Fun

Ashley and Katelyn were inseperable this year. They had so much fun playing together.

Sweet Sisters!!

Kendall on a boat ride--what an adventure!!

Sweet Caroline!

Caroline and Lila. It was so much fun having Lila at Callaway this year. My girls loved playing with her.

I love this picture of Nana showing Katelyn the butterflies.

Katelyn, Kendall, and Ashley at the Butterfly Center.

Caroline spent a lot of time in Nana's lap this trip.
Every year my family takes a week long trip to Callaway Gardens. When I say family, I mean my whole extended family on my mother's side. There are around 22 of us who go each year. I've been going for over 25 years! It is so much fun watching my kids playing with their cousins just like I used to when I was little. This year we had a great time as usual. We swam, played games, walked, fished and the list continues. It was such a special week!

Slippin' and Slidin'

On our family vacation to Callaway Gardens, Katelyn and her cousin Ashley decided that they wanted to go down this inflatable slide. It was at least 40 feet high. They got to do it for 30 minutes and must have done it 10 or 12 times. We were proud of Kateyln for being so brave. They had a ball doing it.

My Sweet Girls

Since I've had so many posts about Katelyn's activities, I wanted to include some pictures of all of the girls. They really love each other, most of the time! Caroline is growing entirely too fast, she is now three months old. She is the sweetest baby and such a good baby, we are so blessed!

Dance Recital

Katelyn with her "strings."

Her whole class.

Katelyn and Daddy, he gave her a pink rose after the recital. She was very proud of her rose.

Wow, I realize there's been a lot of posts about all of Katelyn's activities, but she was involved in so much in May. She has been taking ballet at a little studio that is located inside of a church. I absolutely love the studio. It has been a great year and we're looking forward to another great year next year. The recital was adorable and so special to me. Katelyn's little class danced to "Got No Strings on Me" from Pinnochio. It was sooooo cute!! I was so proud of how well she did.

Take me out to the ballgame

Katelyn and Papa.

Katelyn and Daddy.

Katelyn and JoJo.

Eating at the Varsity.

Katelyn went to her first Braves game with Kevin, Papa, and JoJo. They had a great time. Katelyn hasn't quit talking about how much fun she had. Before the game, they ate at the Varsity. She loved that, especially eating in a desk! It was fun night for all.

Soccer

Now that's one devoted fan!!!

Katelyn participated in a soccer clinic this spring. It was perfect for her because it allowed her to get warmed up to it, and a parent could be on the field with her just learning the basics. Most of the time Kevin went with her, and he loved it! On the last day, they had a little soccer scrimmage. It was a lot of fun, and Katelyn did quite well. She scored several goals and had a blast. It was however cold and rainy, very rainy. That didn't stop her from having fun though!

More pictures from Preschool Graduation

Katelyn and Miss Kim, her teacher.

Her class, the 2009 graduates.

I've gotten behind lately on posting, so I'll try to catch up. These are some more pictures from Katelyn's preschool graduation. She really had a great year this year and learned so much. She is definately ready for Kindergarten. Preschool ending was a very emotional thing for me, more so than I thought it would be. I felt like a chapter in her life was ending, such a precious one. Oh if only she could stay in preschool forever. . . but I know that isn't possible and we are very excited about all God has in store for her next year and the years to come.
