Christmas Card Photos

For me, it is always quite a challenge to get the "perfect" picture for the Christmas card. This year, we took the picture on my mom's front porch on her swing. It seemed to work well because everyone was contained on the swing and not free to move around. Here are a few of my favorite shots from that photo shoot.

My girls

Love these pictures of my girls!! I could eat them up!

Katelyn's first UGA game

Katelyn doing a cartwheel on North Campus. She probably did 100that day.

Love that sweet little face!

We took Katleyn (and Julieanne her doll) to her first Georgia game. She loved it!! She enjoyed watching the cheerleaders the most--and the concession stands were a hit too! Looking forward to many more to come!

Blog Marathon!!!

Ready for church--matching dresses, who would have guessed!

Ready for bed. So excited!

Eating Smores!!

Roasting Marshmellows!!

Ok, I realize that I have taken a serious break from blogging. I'm about to do a major blog marathon and catch up. Our computer was out of commision for a few weeks and now it is up and running again. I don't like falling way behind so I'm hoping to stay caught up. This first post of of Katelyn and one of her best friends having a sleepover at our house. They had a BLAST. They made smores by the fire, played, watched movies, read books and talked in bed! I'm so thankful that Katelyn has such wonderful friendships starting at this young age. Some of my closest friends today are ones that I had sleepovers with at the age of five!

Pumpkin Patch Fun

I would love to know what these two were talking about. Such buddies!!

Neelie and Katelyn.

Fearless and ready to ride the cowtrain!

Fun on the hayride.

Kendall was not cooperating. Raise your hand if you're surprised:)

We went to the Pumpkin patch recently and had a great time. The particular one that we went to had so many fun activities for the kids. We met lots of friends there, and the girls had a so much fun with them. We went on a hayride, rode the cowtrain, played in corn, fed the goats (Kendall that is), watched the pig race, and picked out a pumpkin. We love the fall!!!

Halloween Party

Cinderella and the Cheerleaders

Don't you think these two are a match made in heaven?
We got together with some friends and had a halloween party. The kids all dressed up and looked adorable as usual. We had a great time. I'm so thankful for the friends that my children are being raised with and the positive influences that are being had by them on their lives. I couldn't be more thankful!!

North Georgia Trip

I love this picture. There's nothing I love on my girls' feet more than Keds!!

Making cookies with Mimi.

Making Pancakes with Nana.

How's this one Mimi?

Yummy!!

And we're off!!!

In early October, we took a trip to the North Georgia Mountains. My mom and grandmother went with us also. We had a great time. Our first stop was in Ellijay at an Apple Picking Farm. The girls had a great time picking apples. We also rode on a hayride through the orchard. The weekend was so relaxing, as much as it can be with three kids! We took the girls swimming in an indoor pool one morning. They also enjoyed the playground. Kevin and I took Katelyn on a little hike to a waterfall. We all enjoyed Nana's pancakes. The girls also had fun making fall cookies with Mimi. It was such a fun getaway, and I hope we can do it again next year!!
